Full-time position
working 40 hours a week
(teaching hours will be 20-27 classes a week)
*The position will start in April but the training stars in March.
DUTIES
-Teach English to 1 year old babies to high school students
-Preparation of classes
-Students’ care
-Attending school events
-Translating report cards which native teachers wrote about the students (Twice a year)
-Maintenance, cleanliness & hygiene of the classroom
-Sharing ideas of students with other Japanese coordinators & native teachers
Details
- Classes with younger students are taught with the assistance of a Japanese coordinator. Coordinators assist in planning & conducting lessons for younger kids & planning for the older kids' lessons. The 40 hours per week are basically made up of teaching lessons (27 max), planning lessons with the coordinators, keeping the classroom tidy & organized, preparing for any special events & assisting the staff with miscellaneous duties.
